I got what it seemed the same problem (on PC). Release 3 companions in a row, then check the token counter and didn't see the +45 son's token. I traded a tag for 1 token, thinking it would refresh said counter. Nothing. Had to leave the game and come back to Necralisk to see the son's token counter right amount. All's good now.Per the title, releasing a companion yields no rewards, likely as the game is set up to reward standing instead of an item. But seeing as no standing is given the game gives us nothing instead of the promised tokens. I've only tested with Predasites, it is unknown if Vulpaphyla also fail to yield tokens.
