The NPS established nine campsites along Echo Canyon Road and six along Hole in the Wall Road. No camping is allowed along these roads, except with a permit in designated site. It is open seasonally between mid-October through mid-April. This campground has 190 campsites and has views of Death Valley proper and of the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes. The whole area is busy with tourists which only means parking can be challenging during their busy season. The parking area is huge, though.
