Clean/re-gap plug and double check that you still have strong spark. Drain all the old gas out of the carb bowl. Probably a bunch of crud in the bowl. Re: Full throttle and 2,500 RPM it will not go higher than that. All the signs say not firing on all cyl's, troubleshooting will zero in on where and why.
