I didn't have the SM465 but swapped out the factory 3 spd for a NV4500 instead on my already V-8 powered FJ-40. I didn't have to move the rear cross member for my conversion but did have to snake in the transfer case. Get the driveshafts adjusted as needed and you should be good to go.
