The spider bearing replacement page says to pack the spider bearings with MP Grease (Multi-purpose grease, usually lithium based, zirks 1, 3 and 8).If you go wheeling and drive through a lot of dirt or water, grease your shaft as soon as you get home. This will flush out the contaminants before they have a chance to do much harm. We recommend a good quality grease with calcium sulfonate as an additive, but any grease will do.

Any time I've replaced the front drive shafts I get ones that have grease nipples in the end caps of the u joints on the double cardon end.
