Ok, the battery is obviously dead and the keys will not unlock the door. I can open the trunk. (or it was unlocked allready but I doubt it) But the drivers door will not unlock. I tried feeding 12v thru the dome light in the trunk. That only makes the dome light inside the car turn on. But no luck with the lock.First things to check! 1. Check the turn signal fuses in your fuse panel under the dash and engine compartment. Look in the owner's manual to find the location of the fuse panels for your Mercedes. 2. Test or replace the turn signal relay. Swap the turn signal replay with another relay in the identical fuse box.You can actually take the key fob apart - remove the battery carrier, then you can gently pull the circuit board out. With it out, check inside the lens for debris and clean it. Also, visually check the circuit board for any breaks or burned solder joints.

I would check MB Pompano, call again, complain to the seller. Should replace the lock housing and the tumbler, not just the ignition switch at the end of the lock housing. The new lock housing comes with a new ignition switch.
